Employed on the recommendation of
the Project Controller (former Bechtel work colleague) and have worked at
several offices:

Evenflow (Omnix) support
and administration - the day to day maintenance and updating of data
within the Vodafone Evenflow system,
including raising new Network Requirements for the project, initiating
active plans and updating workflow dates
·
Reporting - general Microsoft Excel support,
running and creating Business Objects reports for senior management (including
for BT transmission links), running checks and comparisons
·
Raising Clarify cases plus raising and receipting
sales orders and purchase orders for hardware kit within Oracle
·
Liaising with Ericsson/Alan Dick to ensure their
team know their requirements within Evenflow
and reports within Business Objects
·
Training other members of the team on Vodafone’s
systems and Microsoft Excel

Initially employed, on the
recommendation of the Lead Designer (a former GT and Warner Interactive
work colleague), to construct and promote a new corporate website (www.bitmap-brothers.co.uk).

Redesigned, coded and
implemented a new corporate website
·
Maintained the
information flow on the site to serve customer support, requests for
information and press information
·
Officially promoted in
March 2001, having organically grown the initial Webmaster role and
incrementally accepted additional responsibilities
·
Supported the Technical
Manager in building PCs, maintaining the network, e-mail administration,
taking back-ups, maintaining anti-virus software and providing on-site
hands on support for all computer hardware and software (Windows 98 – XP,
Windows 2000 Server and Exchange 2000)
·
Improved internal IT
response times through accepting role of 1st line support –
reducing business interruption (Technical Manager only available at the
office once per week)

Specified, designed and
built an Access database to control the bug resolution and management of
games support. The database
dramatically improved the quality of data held, and by improving the user
interface more accurate reporting data was produced more quickly

Initially joined Warner Interactive as a Junior
Tester. Grew with the Company
through two changes of ownership until the QA department was centralised
in Sheffield.
