NetVibes page for Squashy Frog Photography

Continuing my additions to my social media pages, I’ve created a new NetVibes page for Squashy Frog Photography.  Please click on the image below to find it:

There is lots of things here, the first page is feeds from my various social media pages, Twitter, FriendFeed (profile and room) and Flickr.  Then there are several tabs including:

Updated portfolio pages

Nothing major but with the help from the guys from the Revolution theme support site I’ve been able to tidy up the image thread found at the bottom half of the portfolio pages.  It will now display threads from the related category (for example, nature photo threads on the nature portfolio page).  The thread will be a preview and will basically show only the photo.  Links to the full entry, where you;ll find background information and alternative images, are provided.  The full list of portfolio pages are:

Photography & Prints

Prints, mugs and more are available to buy on my DeviantART store. The store is currently in need of a massive overhaul so please bear with me but there is a large selection of products to choose from that might interest you. Keep checking the site as new items will appear regularly. If you are interested in any image that is not listed on the DeviantART store but you’ve seen on my Flickr photostream please get in contact with me and I’m sure I can arrange the product.

Services

I own a large array of gear, including a semi-professional camera body and large range of lenses. My current location is Edenbridge (a small town in Kent in the South East England. Please check back for details of services I can provide and stock images that will be available. In the meantime, please contact me if you wish to use any of my photographs or feel I can help you in anyway.

Achievements

Small in comparison to some but I have had several of my photographs used by various people and companies. This includes several photos appearing on a major credit card company’s site, a shot from the 2007 Wimbledon tennis championships on the home page of an outside television broadcasting firm and one made the final selection of potentially gracing a UK Royal Mail stamp in the Summer of 2008. Also a French design agency is working to publish a book of my London photos that has been ‘miniaturised via post-production. Many of my photos are under the Creative Commons license and have been used on several blogs including NowPublic. I am a regular contributor to the wonderful Dark Matter Magazine; a collection of artists from many different genres and media. And I’ve recently had a photo printed in a UK newspaper.

New About page

Along with many additions to the brand new site, I’ve added a new About page.  A copy is printed below and expect this to be tweaked several times before it settles down.   New about details:

I’m a keen photographer who is learning all the time. Photography is a passion and a hobby that’s taken over my life. I really enjoy taking photos but feel I have a lot of room for improvement. Saying that I can definitely see I’m bettering myself as time goes by. I brought my first digital SLR camera in August 2006 but got serious in October 2007.I would like to eventually combine photography with my other interests; traveling, cycling & pencil drawing. I can’t imagine anything more ideal. My main genres are landscapes, nature, animal, event and sport but enjoy any style of photography and will continue to experiment and explore as many areas as I can.

Along with photography I’m working with Photoshop and love fine-tuning and manipulating photos. I’ve found Photoshop very easy to pick up and use but, again, there is lots to learn.

I have been a regular visitor to flickr and have a large collection of photos, ranging from pure holiday snaps to my recent portfolio shots. For a selection of my images head over to my.photography collection.
